June means life has begun.

June means degree work is done.

June means summer begins.

June means long days and short nights.

June means life has begun.

Back in America and this time no work to done other than make work look good and update my website and blog. Although I don't think I did well, I think my work is alright; good enough to get a job anyway. I like my work and pretty proud of it.

While coming to America and I had to sit and wait in the immigration office for 4 hours (yay) because apparently I didn't have an entry form into the country. While sitting there I saw 1 guy get sent straight back to Paris for lying to an immigration officer and another guy sent back to Barcelona for not having a good reason why hes in the country. Plus he only had $40 with him. Epic fail of the day.

Happily, I didn't get sent straight back to London and I'm here. It is hot and I got work to do. Less important work than last time but important enough to try and get a job.

So, degree course is over and I start life being broke looking for a job in a time jobs are very low. Fantastic. I start life in difficult mode and (hopefully) it gets easier. So whats the plan for June?

The plan is the sort out my portfolio and website then start contacting people left, right and center. Sounds pretty obvious but I guess it has to be done. I've been looking at design studios/agencies in Atlanta, just for the hell of it. There aren't many good studios here. Infact I've found one and its operated by 1 guy. I don't suppose that 1 guy needs a partner in crime with no experience...

So research, improve, communicate and hoping for the best. What a start to life.
